Bhansali Pours Crores On This Gandhi

Looks like the prince of glitz Sanjay Leela Bhansali wont even spare Gandhi’s die-hard pupils.

The man who began his career with the modest-budgeted, but tremendously sensitive debut with Khamoshi and later allowed his directorial prowess to be ensnared in the sticky web of glitz, glamour, vulgarly bourgeoisie-wannabe-elite sets, isn’t done with the pelf yet. SLB is all set to spend Rs 35 crore on his latest production ‘Chenab Gandhi’ based on the life one of Gandhi’s most well known pupils, Khan Abdul Gaffar Khan, who was also known as the Frontier Gandhi, since be belonged to the North News Frontier Province now on the Pakistan-Afghanistan border. The film will be directed by Vibhu Puri who had assisted SLB in several of his ventures and will star Amitabh Bachchan, John Abraham and Vidya Balan… No Salman Khan this time?
