August 31, 2008

mukhbir30The producers of Mukhbir had claimed that if for some strange reason (according to them!) someone doesn’t like the movie, they can always ask for their money back. Well, the moment the makers of the film resorted to such suicidal techniques to attract people to their films, our expectations about the film took a sharp dip. After having watched Mukhbir, we are kind of left in a soup. Mukhbir is definitely not a masterpiece; but it’s a decent try and appears to be an honest effort that’s unfortunately lost in its own world; and the soup we are left in looks tasteless!

Nevertheless Kamat does manage to stir you.
This, when a slew of Bollywood films [...]
